Are there certain Shopify apps that can boost your shop sales? You betcha. In my over five years as an industry-leading shop owner, I’m proud to say I’ve discovered a few. And instead of scrambling to find the right one for your shop, I’m saving you time by sharing the best Shopify apps with you!
Ready to learn about some awesome time-saving and money-saving apps that’ll help your Shopify store grow and thrive? Let’s get to it.
BOLD is a Shopify app partner and developer with a ton of apps for all sorts of needs. Two of my favorites are Upsell and Bundle. Both encourage your customers to spend a bit more in your Shopify store.
As you might imagine from its name, with Upsell you can upsell and cross-sell shoppers after they’ve purchased from your store, or while they’re in the middle of checking out. It’s an excellent app for increasing your average order!
With Bundle, you can offer shoppers discounted product bundles, enticing them to buy a little more or buy certain items in your inventory. Bundle automatically promotes your bundle offers on your storefront, too.
Right after a customer checks out from your store, what happens? If your answer is “nothing,” then I recommend you use the Enquire app! With Enquire, each customer is prompted to answer a survey question post-purchase. You can learn a lot about your customers this way.
My current question for my shop is “How did you find out about us?” and it’s been that way for a while! I switch them up every now and then, but I like this question because it helps me determine where our customers are coming from — even as social media and online trends change. The answer isn’t always clear in analytics, which is why I like asking via surveys.
Why not go the extra mile to surprise and delight your customers post-purchase, too? That’s what I use Bonjoro for. Bonjoro is a fun app my customer care team uses to send personalized videos to customers who have just made a purchase.
Bonjoro makes it easy by creating a list of customers for you to choose to send your video. From there, you can pick a customer, record your video, and strengthen that relationship with your customer.
State tax laws are changing all the time, and digital products are so unregulated right now! If you’re unsure what sales tax you should be charging — if any — I highly recommend TaxJar. TaxJar syncs with your Shopify account and updates daily so you don’t have to stress about tax liability and charging correctly.
I love Shopify and all, but unfortunately, they can’t help recover your data in case the unexpected happens. If your data is lost and items are deleted from your store, they’re gone forever!
It’s a good idea to use an app like Rewind, which is basically a hard drive for your online shop. Rather than manually backing up (which is time-consuming and honestly, boring) Rewind takes care of it all for you.
And now, we’ve come to the final Shopify app on my list — and my favorite! Fomo is described as “live social proof for your site.” When you use Fomo for your shop, people browsing will see what customers are buying and where on the bottom of their screens and mobile feeds.
What does this do? It shows that people really are buying from your store, for starters. And that kind of social proof (the idea that people copy others’ behavior in order to fit in) will benefit your shop sales big time.
Whether you want to take your customer experience to the next level, get improved customer data, or nudge shoppers to buy a little extra, I guarantee there’s a Shopify app for that. I hope this blog and video helped you discover your new favorite Shopify app.
